I've always wanted to paint but the actual draughtsmanship is beyond me. So ..... I'm going to give painting by numbers a go. I used to do embroidery by numbers until it became boring and I branched out into freestyle.
Chose an easy(ish) image to start - lots of blocks of colour and not too much detail.
Progress isn't bad.
27th August
Finished the painting today. Four weeks from start to finish.
Progress catalogued. Needs a border around the edge and stretching over its frame.
29th August
Finished the painting mounting and hung it on the wall this afternoon.
Very pleased with the result. The mindfulness of painting by numbers is helping me enormously.
